Terms of use

This is an English translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
1. What it is and how it works
Image to Sound (image-sound.moralescode.com) is a free, experimental tool by Carlos Morales Aguilera that turns a photo into an MP3 audio file and rebuilds the photo from that audio. By using it you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
Everything happens on your device. Photos and audio are processed in your browser and are never sent to any server. The owner does not receive, see, store or have any way to recover anything you convert: there are no copies, history, accounts or logs of the files. If you close the page, the result is gone unless you downloaded it yourself.
2. Your responsibility for what you convert and share
You are solely responsible for the photos and audio you use and for what you do with the results. In particular, you agree to:
- Use only photos and audio you own or have permission to use, respecting third-party intellectual property.
- Obtain the consent of the people who appear in the photos before sharing them, and respect their rights to honour, privacy and their own image.
- Not use the tool to create, hide or distribute unlawful content: child sexual abuse material, content that incites hatred or violence, that harasses, defames or invades the privacy of others, or personal data of third parties without a legal basis.
- Not use it to circumvent legitimate security or moderation controls, or for any other unlawful purpose.
Bear in mind that the whole photo travels inside the audio: anyone who has the MP3 can rebuild it with this website. Only share the audio with people you want to see it.
3. Disclaimer
The tool is provided “as is”, free of charge and without warranties. To the extent permitted by law:
- The owner is not liable for how users use the tool, or for the photos, audio or content they convert, rebuild or share.
- There is no guarantee that the photo can be rebuilt: it depends on how the audio was transmitted (for example, voice notes or re-compression reduce quality or prevent reconstruction).
- The owner is not liable for lost files, service interruptions, malfunctions or damage arising from using, or being unable to use, the tool.
- The owner is not liable for what third parties do with audio or photos you have shared, or for the apps you share them with (WhatsApp or others).
Nothing above limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or any rights granted to you by consumer protection law.
4. Minors
The tool is not intended for children under 14. If you are under that age, only use it under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
5. Unlawful content and contact
Since nothing is stored, the owner cannot remove or access content processed with the tool. If you spot unlawful use or have any questions about these terms, write to carlos@moralescode.com.
6. Changes and applicable law
The owner may modify or withdraw the tool and update these terms at any time; the version in force is the one published on this page. They are governed by Spanish law, with submission to the courts of Granada (Spain) unless consumer protection law provides for a different jurisdiction. More owner details in the legal notice.
