This is an English translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
In short
- Your photos and audio never leave your device. They are processed in your browser and are not sent, stored or logged on any server.
- No cookies, analytics, advertising or accounts. The browser's local storage is not used.
- The only data processed is technical: your connection's IP address, which the hosting provider logs when serving the page.

The photos and audio you convert
Turning the photo into sound and rebuilding the photo from the sound happen entirely in your browser (Canvas, Web Audio and Web Workers). The website has no application server or database: the owner has no access to your files and does not process them. When you close the page, everything held in memory is deleted.
When a photo is converted it is resized and re-encoded, which removes its metadata (EXIF data such as GPS location or camera model): the audio only contains the image.
If you share the audio, you do so directly from your device with the app of your choice (WhatsApp or another), which will process it under its own policy. Remember that the whole photo travels inside the audio.
Technical connection data
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Serving the website and protecting it against abuse | IP address and technical request data (browser, requested page, date) in the hosting logs | Legitimate interest in the security and operation of the website (art. 6.1.f GDPR) | The hosting provider's log retention period (days) |
No automated decisions or profiling take place, and the data is not used for advertising.
Recipients and international transfers
Data is not shared with third parties unless required by law. The website is hosted by Netlify, which acts as data processor and may process technical data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or, failing that, the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Your rights
You can request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing, object to it or request portability by writing to carlos@moralescode.com. As the website does not keep your photos or audio, there is nothing of them to access or delete. If you believe your request was not handled properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
